Our company background is 50 years of injection molding. Mariplast North America, Inc. started operations in the USA in 1993 to manufacture plastic tubes for the textile industry. The idea to start making plant shelters came to our Italian sister company OSO SHELTERS in 2014, when a vineyard owner in Florence, Italy, bought some of our textile tubes for his vineyard because he was very disappointed with traditional plant shelters. Interest immediately arose as to how and why he would use our tubes. A few months later, he was back. He loved our product and wanted 2,000 more for his new vines. In the first two years of use, his vines had a remarkable increase in growth and 100% success.
Since then, we have been listening to the needs of the vineyard and orchard managers, and working vigorously to provide the ultimate grow tubes. We strive to offer the best design and quality to protect grape vines and plants, and ensure the most efficient results on the field. |
